Popular singer graduates from local university

Do you know of any poisonous animals? You probably start thinking about snakes and spiders but scientists have just discovered that some birds are poisonous too. One such bird is called the pitohuis (pit-uh-hoo-eez) and it lives in New Guinea. This bird is black and orange and it has poison in its skin and feathers. If a snake tries to eat it, the bird tastes like really hot chili peppers. Imagine that.

If you touched this bird, you’d feel like a burning or numbness or maybe you would sneeze or cough. They won’t kill you but that may irritate your body.

CDSC sets up booth at 7th GTS

Many visitors of the 7th German Technical Symposium Exhibition (GTS) were surprised to see a German school in Thailand. The booth was manned with staff members of the CDSC, as well as committed parents, who could give first hand information to visitors of the symposium of the Thai German Chamber of Commerce, an exhibition which is held every 3 years in Bangkok.


Popular singer graduates from local university

Atit (Tim) Piboontham, a member of the popular singing group Acapella 7, recently received his graduation certificate at Payap University. Tim graduated from the Music Department, Faculty of Humanities. Acapella 7 is very popular amongst teenagers and has a very successful new album with many popular song titles including Dogs, Toom, and Khai Jeow (omelet). He is the last one of the band members to receive his graduation certificate.
