HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana graciously visited and stayed at the Imperial Maeping Hotel in Chiang Mai during the Royal Family members’ visit to Chiang Mai. The Princess was welcomed with flower garlands by Khunying Wanna and Charoen Siriwattanapakdee, seated left.

The 5th “Fuji Star Search” Exhibition was opened recently by Mrs Suchada Wongrithikorn (center), the wife of Chiang Mai’s deputy governor, who is seen cutting a ribbon to mark the opening ceremony of the exhibition. With her are Ms Pornnut Thanuwoharn (left), the sales promotion officer of Central Airport Plaza department stores, Supoj Chokanchitchai (2nd left), photo products manager for Fuji Photo Film (Thailand) Co., Ltd, and Prasit Chansereekorn (2nd right), whose work is being shown in the Fuji Star Search and Exhibition, and Mrs Orachorn Chantarawiwattana (right), during the opening session organized at the Central Airport, Chiang Mai.

Udom Puasakul (front row, center), deputy governor of Chiang Mai, recently presided over the opening ceremony of the new IBM center. He was welcomed by the IBM management team led by Songtham Pianpattanawit and Thamarong Kiatwong, deputy managing director of the industrial business department.

Rotarian Michael Jacobson presented Dr. Sombat Tapanya, asst. head of the Department of Psychiatry at Chiangmai University, with a box full of educational material on the topic of “Parenting”, which was jointly organized and sponsored by the Rotary Clubs Chiangmai West and Davis, California, USA. Dr. Sombat made a very interesting presentation on Child Abuse, its reasons and possible ways to prevent it.

A kind of 6 nation-dinner was recently held nearby Wanna Tours Good Offices - from left you see Marion, Chiangmai Mail, from Germany, David, Wanna Tours, from the UK, Luxamee, Marc’s wife, Thailand, Wanna herself, Thailand, Hanspeter Enderlin from Switzerland, Alma Enderlin from Mexico, and Marc Dumur, Amari Rincome from Switzerland. Even the wine came all the way from Australia.
