The Full Monty Pub in the Thapae area recently
celebrated its 2nd anniversary until the wee hours of the morning. Friends,
family, regular guests and tourists enjoyed a ‘Kitty style’ buffet, lots of
drinks and techno music to get in the mood. It was a very enjoyable night! Host
Tom (front row, 3rd from left) with
the lovely hostess Kitty, his Mom Dot and good friends John (with the beard) and
Theo at the very left back, plus the nice mixed crowd who regularly meets there,
helped make the night a success.

The management of Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, led by
general manager Vorapong Muchaotai, together with Atwil Yew, the Northern
Thailand manager of Silk Air, and mass media people in Chiang Mai recently
participated in an M-card members’ lucky draw to win airline tickets and other
valuable prizes.

No one else but Peter Malhotra, MD of the Pattaya
Mail and Pattaya Blatt, and GM of the Chiangmai Mail, was recently spotted here
in Chiang Mai, enjoying a small glass of wheat beer. Joerg Eisenschmidt, owner
and executive chef of To Nobody Restaurant was on hand to explain the secrets of
this beer specialty, which is available on tap at his place.
