Guitar Kings of Thailand play Chiang Mai

Rotary to bring a little magic into our lives

Guitar Kings of Thailand play Chiang Mai

Natchawi Srirat

Fans were thrilled by the “Guitars of Thailand” concert, especially the ‘hard core’ fans of “Lam” Morrison and “Kitty” Gun Guitar, the greatest guitarists in Thailand.

After the concert, Chusuk Namhunsa, assistant general manager of the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel thanked Lam and Kitty for the tremendous concert, and for sure a beer would have been appreciated as well. After all, they are musicians.

The concert, held at the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel Chiang Mai, featured a variety of music from the two famous artists, Latin rock, ballads, and definitely heavy hard rock reminiscent of Pink Floyd.

Everyone was caught up in the spirit of the concert, and especially when they played heavy rock music, the beer garden was rolling. For all fans who missed this concert, don’t be disappointed because there will be another chance to rock n’ roll during the Mardi Gras festivities.

Rotary to bring a little magic into our lives

Just repeat after me, “Abracadabra!”

The Tourism Authority of Thailand in conjunction with Rotary International Thailand will be presenting a world class magic show in seven provinces around Thailand.

The show will be presented by Lawrence and his daughter, world class magicians who have planned to come to Thailand to show their magic, called “The Wonder of Love”, in many provinces including Bangkok, Surat Thani, Songkhla, Phitsanulok, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai.

The performance in Chiang Mai will be held at the 700 Year Anniversary sports complex in May. The show will emphasize good family relationships within the context of the magical world.

There will be over 70 magic tricks during the show with most never having been seen in Thailand. Funds raised from the shows will be going towards the charitable projects and activities of Rotary International in Thailand.
