After the successful start in the northern region with
the Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai route, Phuket Air has added a second direct route
to its growing number of domestic flights. Chiang Mai residents can now fly
directly to Udon Thani, the northeastern capital of Isan being promoted
heavily by the TAT for its world heritage site of the prehistoric culture of
Ban Chiang and as the prime business center of Isan.
