13 million baht for longans! Dr Pong Suphawhasit, senior committee member of Chiang Mai province, presided over the contract signing ceremony for exporting Thai-Chinese agricultural products, which was mutually signed by Fongwa Saefong, managing director of Ta Ting Fong Co. Ltd. and the Northern Longan Network Association. During the same occasion, Fongwa also brought 13 million baht as the earnest money to the association to have longans exported by both land and air routes.

The Amari Rincomeís GM cocktail party this month was well attended with international guests. Seen chatting with GM Wim Fagel (left) were guests Brigitte Sypestyn and Joost Valkenberg.

Because we are meant to be! After a long engagement period, Patcharin Palmer, the beautiful bride and Robert J. Willy, the handsome groom from England, decided to ring the wedding bells. They celebrated together with close relatives and friends who witnessed the elegant ceremony, at the beautiful decorated ballroom of the Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai.

Ms. Sawitree Chormchan, former PR manager of the hotel, and the groom Traiphob Boonmuan held their wedding party at the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel. Hundreds of guests turned up to give the couple the best wishes. Vorapong Muchaotai (left), GM of the hotel, and Sasiwimol Muchaotai (right) of Silk Air congratulate the bridal couple.

Arie J.M De Keijzer (G.M) and the management of the Rydges Amora Tapae Chiangmai Hotel recently welcomed the Thai Tourism Board Mini Mega family group from Australia. The group was led by Melanie McCoy, marketing manager of the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Sydney.
