Newly opened La Luna Gallery in Chiang Mai is ready to present its first major exhibition: White Mornings and green buffaloes - visions of Vietnam”, featuring around twelve Vietnamese artists. Some of the artists are already famous and well-established internationally, while others are still young and upcoming and have never exhibited outside Vietnam before. The Influential Sri Lanka? A continuation of work by Chiang Mai-based photographer Angela Srisomwongwathana. Black & white pictures and color range from fine, symbolic stone carvings to world-class 5th century frescos.
