The Rotary Club of Thin Thai Ngam
would not ever miss a good party and people know it. Once again they
held their annual “Dam Hua Ceremony” (paying respects) for their
senior Rotary past district governor, their past presidents and the
counselors of the club. It was once again a happy gathering as you can
see, they all look pretty happy.

Recently, the management of Scandic Beauty
and Thai Massage held its grand opening at the shop on the newly finished
Chang Moi Tad Mai Road, Chiang Mai. Many guests joined the party and
congratulated them. The spa brings over 10 years of international experience to
Chiang Mai, holding a number of European quality certificates, including hair
styling from Stockholm, Sweden. It opens daily for public services from 9 a.m.
– 8 p.m.

The Lady’s Lunch Bunch during the month of
May was held at the very popular Imperial Mae Ping Hotel lunch buffet,
with almost 30 ladies turning up. As always, it was a group of international
women from all circles of life, living in Chiang Mai, who are always happy to
welcome newcomers into their midst. The time and venue of the next get together

The Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel recently hosted a cocktail
reception and dinner for a delegation of Russian media on an inspection trip to
Thailand. Most impressed with Chiang Mai and its sightseeing possibilities, the
journalists promised to promote this destination as much as they could, saying
that it would be a welcomed alternative to the usual beach resort-holidays the
Russian travelers are used to.
