Amazing Chiangmai

No Cabinet, no traffic lights?

Amazing Chiangmai

Editor Chiangmai Mail;
"Posters and billboards that are an eyesore are being taken down," Khun Nopniwat wrote in your issue of June 12. But some boards are still very visibly there. Or maybe they are not an eyesore. There is a huge one between Nakorn ping Bridge and the American Consulate. And this one is on Thanon Thapae. Can you tell me why both billboards are still there? Amazing Chiangmai?
Best wishes,

No Cabinet, no traffic lights?

The Editor,
Lamphun now chosen for the mobile Cabinet meeting? Does this mean we’ve wasted the time, effort and expense of installing all those essentially needed traffic lights to no purpose?

Whew! Just as well that after several weeks we still hadn’t got around to painting traffic lanes or pedestrian crossings on the new surfaces. Now we can happily leave the job typically Thai - half done!
