‘Art by Alain’ at the Writers’ Club and Wine Bar, Rachadamnoen Road, from November 16 - 30. An exhibition of original contemporary paintings by a Thai resident French artist who describes himself as “an informal pupil of Picasso”. 15 of the works by Alain can be viewed - and purchased. Images of women, warfare, moonlight, several versions of the Lord Buddha and more. Prices range from 6,800 to 9,000 baht and there are some prints at lower cost.

The annual Christmas Concert of the Choral Society is set for Saturday, December 11. This year it will take place at the small theatre in the CMU Convention Center at 7 p.m. on December 11. More details to follow.

The Christmas Party for orphaned kids affected by HIV, has been set for Saturday December 11 at The Pub on Huey Kaew Road. Everyone is welcome to come along and support the event.
