An evening with Book Kitavadhana

The audience experienced a masterpiece of an evening at
Gong Dee Studio in Soi Nimmanhaemin when Book Kitavadhana returned to the
stage for his first concert in five years. It was musical theater that was
sold out in four days after the event was published in the Chiangmai Mail,
and one that enchanted the entire audience.

China beats Nigeria, Italy succumbs to Brazil

China beat Nigeria 1-0 while Brazil beat Italy 2-1 at the
700 Year Anniversary Stadium in the first two matches in Group B of the FIFA
U-19 Women’s World Championship on November 10.
In the first match between Nigeria and
China, the first half ended with neither side able to score. However, Zhang
Ying, the Chinese No 8 scored the only goal of the match in the 80th minute
and China picked up three points from this match.

Bernina opens second factory in Lamphun
On October 28, the Thai operations of the world-famous
sewing machine manufacturer Bernina opened its second factory in the
Northern Region Industrial Estate in Lamphun.
Hans-Peter Erismann, the Swiss Ambassador, Hans-Peter
Ueltschi, owner of the Bernina group from the headquarter in Switzerland;
Udom Phuasakul, Governor of Lamphun, and Klaus Hawelka, Managing Director of
Bernina (Thailand), welcomed 100 distinguished guests at the opening
ceremony.

Pizza, Pool Party and Mocktails at Prem

On Friday, November 12, the boarding students from Prem
Tinsulanonda International School (Prem) held a pool party to celebrate all
the birthdays from August to November. We were all allowed to invite three
friends from the day school and our guests from Kardinia International
College of Australia also joined us for a more enjoyable time.
