Achara Thammarak, managing director of
the Lampang River Lodge, was proud to receive the Golden Kinaree
award of ‘Excellence’ from the minister of tourism, Sontaya
Khunplome. Only two resort hotels throughout Thailand received this
highest award in 2004.

Nineteen delegations from Derbyshire, England,
members of the Friendship Force Club of Chiang Mai, visited Chiang Mai
Municipality as part of the cultural exchange program. Main objectives are to
boost friendship and mutual understanding between the two cultures.
