Chiang Mai Silver Street’, Wualai Road is adopting the ‘Walking Street’ concept on Saturday January 1st and January 8, 2005 from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. Wualai will host Lanna arts and handicrafts.

Exhibition of Thai and Japanese Contemporary Art until January 25, 2005 at the Exhibition Room CMU Fine Arts Faculty. Exhibition open Monday to Friday office hours. In collaboration with Tokohgakuen University, Aichi Prefecture Art University, Jurashiki Art and Science University, Nagoya Zokei Art University, West Fujeda High School Tokohagakuen High School and Namazu Special Education.

CMUs Fine Arts Faculty have a historical photograph exhibition on “Lanna King Gilded Palace and Khum Kaew” at the Chiang Mai City Art and Culture Hall (near the Three Kings monument) until January 28, 2005 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Exhibition ‘Mysterious Mekong’, to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Informal Northern Thai Group (INTG) will take place throughout January at the L’Ecole Francaise d’Extreme-Orient opposite the Alliance Francaise. Opening ceremony January 7, 2005 at 6.30 p.m.
