Sport activities held for aged people

The Aged Peoples Association of Chiang Mai in cooperation with the Chiang Mai Provincial Administration Organization held a day of sports for elderly people on February 14 at the Municipal Stadium. The sport aimed to build networks between aged peoples’ clubs throughout Chiang Mai and promote exercising among the older groups.

LIST students learn about biodiversity during field trip to Khao Yai

During January 26-30, Grades 6-8 students from Lanna International School (LIST) went on an extended field trip to Khao Yai National Park. It was an opportunity to see much of the terminology used in the school’s life science curriculum, but the students also went camping, hiking, and cooking outdoors.

Bennett Lerner records Claude Debussy

To the list of musicians that have recorded the complete piano music of Claude Debussy (1862 – 1918), soon can be added the name of a resident of Chiang Mai. Dr. Bennett Lerner, well-known to most of us, has been invited by the American Bridge Records label in New York to record all of the piano compositions by this famous French composer.
