On April 8, Eckhard Schuette, better known as “Mr. Gypsy”, and his wife Kanchana celebrated the 17th anniversary of Gypsy’s first restaurant Grillstation. The venue may have moved a couple of times during those 17 years, but so did their guests, and quite a number of customers (friends by now) moved with them from Grillstation 1 to the venue where it is today on Charoenprathed Road, opposite Pornping Hotel.

Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, together with the Rotary Club Chiang Mai and Rotary Clubs from Japan, plant trees on the occasion of the recent 100 years anniversary of Rotary International. Asst. Prof. Ruangdech Wonglah, President of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Dr. Suphawat Phuwakul led the delegation.

Officials from the Pha Muang Task Force gathered to pour holy water on hands and appeal for blessings for Maj. Gen. Pairat Thongjaktu, commissioner of Pha Muang Task Force, on the occasion of the Songkran Festival, at the force’s headquarter in Muang, Chiang Mai.

Jeicho Quek, Silk Air’s regional manager for Northern Thailand, held a meeting and seminar for their northern agents and representatives of Singapore Airlines & Silk Air at the Central Duangtawan Hotel, Chiang Mai.
