SOCIAL SCENE

20 years of being married (to the same person) is enough reason to celebrate, but having adorable children plus many good friends and family around is even better. Adichat Surinkhum (director of the Geotechnic Division at Chiangmai Hill Hotel) and his wife Wasana (Row 2, first and third from left) surrounded themselves with friends and family and organized a ‘Look back 20 years’ evening.

The May lunch of the Ladies Lunch Bunch group was a more elegant affair with the venue being the Sheraton Hotel Chiang Mai. Almost 40 members enjoyed themselves. The next Lunch Bunch will be organized in June, and details will be found on Chiangmai Mail’s Community Happenings page.

David Brown (seated with hat, front right) is seen celebrating not only his birthday, but also his retirement as a teacher from Lanna International School. The well wishers met at Pasta Way To Heaven on Nimmanahaeminda Road, and enjoyed great Italian food and karaoke until the wee hours.
