Susie Shioyama, GM of the Novotel Hotel Chiang Mai, held a birthday party for her staff born in July.

SLIRG (Singapore Local Interline Reservation Group) held its “Airlines Representative In Singapore” conference at the Imperial Mae Ping, presided over by Daniel Quek, president of SLIRG Group, and joined by various airline representatives.

An evening at To Nobody. Was it a family dinner for the Kapplers, who just came back from seven weeks holiday in Germany? Or was it a birthday dinner for dad Klaus? Or was it a welcome back from Canada for Herrmann Kleefisch with Taa and her daughter? Or was it just one of those nights where Chef Joerg put some traditional home cooked food on the table? (Answer: All of the above)

Buonissimo Italian Restaurant and Delicatessen was the venue for the recent chef’s table, with (from left) Dieter-Paul Bender (D2 Hotel), Sebastiano (Pulcinella Restaurant), Giorgio (Giorgio’s Italian Restaurant), Stefano (La Gondola), Alain (Chez Gibus), host Sergio, Fabrizio (Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi Resort), and Claudio (Four Seasons).

La Femme De Kad was one of Kad Suan Kaew’s recent fashion projects. Renowned models Mawit Kluaytrakul, Rojana Thianwatanajitda and Nijaree Prasootrungruang, and male models, took part in the show.

The Chiangmai Oasis Spa held their yearly staff party at the Rydges Amora Tapae Chiangmai Hotel last week. Pakin Ploywaen (left) and Toby Allen (right) with a group of their attractive Spa girls. Chiang Mai Oasis has opened their second spa, a garden villa in the middle of the city near Wat Phasing.

A group of students from Sirinthon Health College, Phitsanulok province, came to inspect and discuss the spa business with Chitra Klanprayoon, director of Ban Sabai Spa Village, who was happy to pass on the information.

Colin Sakone Hardcastle was born on August 10 at the Suan Dok Maharaj Hospital, and made history upon arrival, being the third largest baby ever born there at 4.5 kg. Mama Wiyada, Daddy David and little Colin are now looking forward to getting full nights sleep again. David expressed maximum appreciation for the care given to his wife and son at the hospital, especially from all the ladies in the Baby Unit, as the little one needed special care because of his size.
