Rugby Union scrums down in Chiang Mai

The Prince Royal’s College is the venue for the new-look Chiang Mai Rugby Union scene. Assembling every Sunday afternoon for the next month, six teams will play against each other in a “round robin” tournament, which represents the first known unification of Rugby Union in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai University held its 12th CMU Book Fair over the November 24-December 2 period, with more than 60 booths set up by publishing companies and book stores in the main CMU library.

Timely show presents the best of building materials

More than 100 stands displaying building and decorative materials and services were on display at Lanna Architect 2005, organized at the Baan Lan Tong room in Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel in Chiang Mai.

The exhibition also featured a conference with leading architects presenting their views on the current and future state of building techniques and technology.
