The best day in your life is supposed to be the wedding day, and this was experienced by Praphaporn Praisopha and Eberhard Kurz (in middle) from Chiang Mai. Friends and family had gathered at Baan Suan Restaurant for the ‘two in one’ party, Eberhard’s 50th birthday and his wedding to the lovely bride ‘Pla’, flanked by Mama Kurz (left) and Tante Kurtz (right).

HE Vivek Katju, the Indian Ambassador to Thailand and his spouse visited Chiang Mai. A welcome party hosted by Anil Varma (2nd left), Indian Consul to Chiang Mai, at The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, where they were warmly welcomed by Sineenart Somrat (left), Reservation Manager.

The kiln is ready! 10 students of Rongrian Suksaa Songkro Maechan came to build a kiln at Insii Thai House, Chiang Rai, for Paris based artist Paul Beckrich to fire the enameled sculptures at more than 1000 degrees C. On February 19 the sculptures will be sold and auctioned for charity to be disbursed by Rotary.

Just Khao Soi was the meeting venue for an international group on inspection in Chiang Mai. Sripan Beary from Track of the Tiger Tours introduced the ladies to Chiang Mai’s famous curry dish Khao Soi.
