ACM. Kongsak Wanthana, Minister of Interior (right), was warmly welcomed by Chusak Namhansawong, Resident Manager (middle), on the occasion of his visit the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel.

Mah Bow Tan, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment from Singapore came to Chiang Mai for a Charity Golf Tournament and made a donation for the Children’s Home Chiang Mai, and stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel, Chiang Mai. He was welcomed by Boonchai Suwatsakulsawasd, GM of the hotel.

Somsak Wattanacheewanopakorn, deputy director general of Land Transport Department and Chanchai Kilapaeng, head officer of Chiang Mai Land Transport Office presided at the opening ceremony of the Northern Village Free Shuttle Service. They were joined by Edward Whiteridge, GM of Amora Thapae Hotel; Laiad Boongsithong, assistant manager of Central Duang Tawan Hotel; Panida Khuanprasert, Office Excutive of Ratchamankha Hotel; and Saranya Chaiwong, PR officer of Sheraton Chiang Mai Hotel and Orachorn Chanwiwattana, GM of Central Airport Plaza, Chiang Mai.

A charity gathering was held to raise funds for the Thai Red Cross and the Northern Mentally Retarded Welfare Centre (under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen). In attendance were (from left) Somsak Kaelroumwong, Secretary of the Office of the Judiciary Region 5; ML Preeyapun Sridhavat, Hon. Consul of Peru ; Patchara Anansuchatkul, Jakkis Anansuchatkul the Chief Judge of Region 5, US Consul General Bea Camp with her husband David Summers, Dit Pothiyarom, Director of the Drama Arts College and Krongthong Pothiyarom.
