The Faculty of Fine
Arts, Chiang Mai University proudly presents the Solo Exhibition of “Black
Magic” by Udom Chimpakdee. Find out how much are can explain the beliefs
of sacred items which people still believe in our society nowadays. Those
items came from the beliefs and faiths of local people that they have faith
in, but its value and meaning have change follow the favor, the taste and
behavior of human. From positive value has change to serve the dark side of
the human’s heart. The exhibition will be on view until 14 May, 2006 at
Ji.Qoo Gallery, Nimmanheminda Rd. Soi 5, Muang, Chiang Mai.
Violin Recital by Vadim Tchijik at the Alliance Francaise
on Monday April 24, 2006 at 7.30 p.m. The programme will include works of
J-S Bach, Paganini, Kreisler and Ysae. Tickets will be on sale at

Contemporary Art from Myanmar at The Dhara Dhevi Gallery,
Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai from April 8 – May 31, 2006.
An extraordinary selection of 16 of the top contemporary artists in Myanmar,
comprising a total of 50 works is one of the largest showings of
contemporary Myanmar art in one venue in Thailand.

Date Change: Chiang Mai Voices, a new choral group
under the leadership of Rainy Riding, the longtime director of the Chiang

“Footlight’, a tribute to Broadway! Please mark

International’s performance of Broadway favorites. The show will feature
solos, ensembles, and choral performances of tunes from Fiddler on the Roof,

Dino Fantasy Park World Tour, explore the jungle and
hunt for dinosaurs on 20,000 square meter of area at Muan Jai Outdoor

‘Overstay fine’ more than doubles! The Thai
Immigration Bureau has announced that the overstay fine will be changed from
200 baht per day to 500 baht per day effective Wednesday, March 15. This may
