His Majesty
King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Queen Sirikit wave to the crowd during
ceremonies in Bangkok Friday, June 9. HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great is
the world’s longest serving monarch and is celebrating his 60th anniversary of
his accession to te throne. Celebrations locally included a parade, candlelit
ceremonies and literally thousands of people wearing “I love the King”

Chiang Mai people pay homage to HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej
In the morning of June 9, Suwat Tantipat, Chiang Mai Governor led Chiang Mai
people to make merit to 999 monks at Chiang Mai Municipal Stadium in Muang
Chiang Mai. This was done to honor HM the King celebrating the 60th
anniversary of his ascension to the throne and to express their loyalty.
