Alumni Affairs, Chiang Mai University represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nivet Nanthajit, president of the association (3rd from left) presented 25,000 baht raised by the Faculty of Medicine to Chiang Mai University to help people who faced the flood in the Northern region. The donation was received by Prof. Dr. Pongsak Angkasith, president of Chiang Mai University (4th from right).

British author Justin Wintle, who is writing a biography of the Burmese democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi, visited the permanent exhibition of Burmese art at the Chiangmai’s Writers Club and Wine Bar, in the company of the veteran and revered Burmese poet U Thin Moe and former Suu Kyi political aide Nyo Ohn Myint. Tghey were welcomed by Writers Club proprietor, Robert Tilley (left).

Kattika “Kib” Sae-tia, Sales Executive (left) and Wiriya “Namwaan” Intrarasang, PR Executive (right) of Sheraton Chiangmai Hotel visited Chiangmai Mail, welcomed by Murray Dickson, Managing Editor and GM of Chiangmai Mail.

Niramol Udomsilp (4th right), Sales Manager of Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai, welcomed KUONI Tour leader, Ms Alicia Nasskau (5th right), and a group of top travel agents from The United Kingdom at the resort recently. The group comes to Chiang Mai for site inspection in order to promote this fascinating city to UK’s high-end market.
