Swiss National Day at Amari Rincome Hotel. On August the first, the whole of Switzerland gathers in public places around bonfires and listens to speeches about the independence of the country from the Austrian rulers which began with the Grutli Pact of 1291. This year to mark the occasion, there were no bonfires at the Amari Rincome but there was an enormous Swiss buffet and Excellent wine. Those celebrating included.
