Chaleenuch Visith (right), director of public relations for the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai, recently welcomed a group from Allure, a famous Korean lifestyle and fashion magazine, to the resort during their visit to Chiang Mai. The group had come to Chiang Mai in order to do a fashion shoot at the resort and promote the city as a destination for Korean tourists.

Dr. Weerachai Na Nakorn (inset), director of the Botanical Garden Organisation, presided over the International Conference on Tropical Plants, held in honour of the 60th anniversary of HM the King Bhumibol’s ascent to the throne. The conference was held at the Botanic Resort, Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens.

Dr. Pongsak Angkasith (left), president of Chiang Mai University, and Dr. Dang Vu Binh (right), rector of Hanoi Agricultural University, sign a joint contract for General Agreement for Academic Exchange and opened the CMU Education and Research Coordination Center at Hanoi Agricultural University in Vietnam on August 3.
