Gourmets and music lovers can
enjoy a feast of fine food and music during November while aiding 5
charities in and around Chiang Mai. Thais and foreigners are invited to
attend any or all of the functions at the Saen Kham Terrace Restaurant, Baan
Nai Fan 2nd project. The first
Gourmet and Music feast will be held on Saturday November 11 starting at
7pm. Funds raised will be donated to: the Northern Disabled People
Foundation; Anusarn Sunthorn School for the Deaf; Srisungwarn Chiang Mai
School; Suandok Hospital Foundation and the Chiang Mai Orphanage Foundation.

Star Brass Band Jazz Concert - The free concert will
be staged on September 25, beginning at 7 p.m., at Chiang Mai University’s
Convention Centre, Nimmanhaemin Rd. The band will be performing a mixture of
New Orleans music, which consists of traditional, blues, and gospel.

“Believe” Lanna Style Design International Workshop –
The Craft Service Center (CDSC) associated with the Faculty of Fine Art,
Chiang Mai University will hold a two week workshop from 1 to 14 October at
the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. The project aims to promote
the creation of a new fusion in contemporary design merging traditional

Annual Terry Fox Run – Four Seasons Resort
Chiang Mai will be staging the 10th
Annual Terry Fox Run for cancer research on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at
the Chiang Mai 700 Year Stadium this includes a 10.2 km run or a 2.2 km
walk. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Oncological (Cancer)
Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. For
