Our intrepid Social Scene photographer was very busy this past week braving the smog and racing around Chiang Mai attending so many functions.
The always popular and sometimes monthly Hillside Friends Rooftop party was hosted by Steve Yarnold. Residents, friends and visitors gathered around the pool for a delightful evening while trying to decipher the city skyline through the thick haze.
The Ladies Lunch Bunch met last week at the new Sofitel Hotel Chiang Mai on the Ping River. The Lunch Bunch meets every 2nd Wednesday at a different place. Those interested in joining the club can contact email: Sharen Sherman at [email protected]
La Luna Gallery celebrates its third anniversary. More than 20 artists are displaying their works which runs until April 8th. The artists are from Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Malaysia as well as a number of Thailand-based farang-artists.
The Pub on Huay Kaew Road is the place to be on Wednesday evenings. Long time residents of Chiang Mai gather for a pint or two while discussing the top stories of the week. This week it was the pollution of course.
