Let’s go to the Hop evening at the Park Hotel attracted over one hundred
residents of Chiang Mai who danced the night away while raising funds under
the Zonta Chiang Mai organization.
Proceeds from the successful event will benefit orphaned children, a long
time project of the Zonta group.
Zonta International founded in 1919, is a global organization of executives
and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide
through service and advocacy. It now covers 1,300 clubs connects over 45,000
Zontians in 70 countries around the world. The Zonta International in
Thailand was founded by Lady Poonsup Noppawong Na Ayuddhaya in 1970. The
Zonta International Chiang Mai was established in 1998 and has been running

It’s the third time ELLE and ELLE Decoration magazines held a roadshow
in Chiang Mai. This event was named “ELLE & ELLE Decoration Chiang Mai
Roadshow 2007” and took place the 19th and 20th of May at Airport
Central Plaza.

It began with a talk by Kulwit Laosuksri, ELLE Magazine’s
editor-in-chief about the fashion trends this summer followed by a show
of handbags by Thailand’s super models Rasee Watcharapholmek and
Nitichai Yosamornsoontorn and a fashion show by Giordano and Zein.
On Sunday Rangsima Kasikranund, ELLE Decoration’s Editor-in-chief, spoke
about trends in decorating and the event ended with a mini piano concert
by Toe Saksit Vejsupaporn.
Vieng Ping children’s home get donation

Mr. Andrew Harrison,
General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel in Chiang Mai hands over a
check worth 60,000 baht to the children of Vieng Ping orphanage. The
money was raised at a recent concert held at the hotel.
