Long Live Her Majesty Queen Sirikit

August 12 is a very special day throughout the Thai Kingdom, as it is the day the entire nation celebrates the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday. The day is also celebrated throughout the Kingdom as Mothers Day. The management and staff of the Chiangmai Mail join the Thai people and the many others from around the world to present our loyalty and devotion to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and best wishes for a most Happy Birthday and a long life on the occasion of her 75th birthday August 12. 2000 orchids planted to mark HM the Queen’s birthday

Joining hands to return orchids back to nature and marking the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, Mae Hong Son provincial authorities and residents of the Karen, Mae Samat, and Huay Maklang villages planted wild orchids in the area called Doi Uang Sae mountain.
