A new gym for CMIS

A new gym for CMIS

CMIS students Kelly, Daisy, and Penny perform a celebratory Thai dance accompanied by the vocal performance of teacher Sue Eubank.

Nicki Gamble,
CMIS Admissions Officer

Chiang Mai International School celebrated the opening and dedication of its new gymnasium earlier this month with honored guests, prayers, speeches, music, dancing, and many, many smiles. The completion of this wonderful facility represents countless hopes, wishes, and hours of planning over a long period of time.
The new building includes a full size gym with parquet floor, a dance studio, classrooms, a PE office, and a home for the new CMIS booster club.
Our athletes, dancers, and school community will all benefit greatly from this welcome addition to our continually improving campus, and the CMIS Eagles look forward to welcoming teams from the Chiang Mai Athletics Conference to their brand new nest. Go Eagles!

Left to Right – Dignitaries at the gym opening – Mrs. Heather Smith, CMIS Board Vice-Chair; Rev. Wiratch Gouydul, Moderator for Church of Christ Thailand (CCT); Mrs. Supaporn Yanasarn, CMIS Director; Ms. Patcharee Sapjawpet, of the CCT Education Ministry; Mr. Thanom Pinta, Vice-Director of CCT Education Ministry.
