It’s the thought that counts, Warunee Kammeru, Room Division Manager of the Amari Rincome presents a birthday cake to Mr. Jon Glendinning, Managing Director of the British Council to mark this happy occasion.


The Wine Bar next to the Wine Gallery on Rattanakosin Road welcomed connoisseurs at their premises for an evening of wine tasting. Even though there was a lot of shop talk - everyone had time to relax and chat with friends. Chiang Mai’s very own Flea Market opened at Club 9 Dreamers on Soi 9 Nimmanheiman Road last weekend. The organisers have announced that the market will be open every Saturday in December from noon until 5 p.m. Seen taking advantage of the warm sunshine and also to sell off their valued possessions were: Gisela, Kate and Tyler. Jim Messenger, David Brown Janet and Linda. Matha, David and Ellen.


The Fiesta Latina night at the Imperial Mae Ping added an exotic touch to Hanna Niemeiyer’s birthday celebrations last week. They were serenaded by the ‘Evolution Band and the exotic Joe Dancers. The fare for the evening was Latin Mexican plus the occasional shot of Tequila. Ole!
