Something different and fresh about “The Mail”

More interesting reporting and broader horizons. Less emphasis on the “darker” side of CM’s crime scene.
More colour pictures. Why, even “Money Matters” does not appear to be as “dry” as before and Hillary’s advice sometimes addresses issues other than those of love-forlorn farangs.
The other regular columnists continue to please and the sports pages are quite exciting. The new”ish” FeMail page is always worth a read, even for those of the opposite gender.
There is a liberal sprinkling of humour to keep the giggles up.
A great read. Look forward to each edition. Keep up the excellent work. Congratulations.

Why only complain?

Dear Editor,
In your mailbag I see every time people complain…and some time I ask me, why they come to Chiang Mai, if in United States is every thing better?!
I’m constated that the City looks cleaner and more beautiful (moat) since we have a new mayor in Chiang Mai and so I say: Thank you to the municipality of Chiang Mai!

Don’t justify smoking

Dear Editor,
In response to Steve: Give it up, Steve. There is no way to justify smoking. Period. As for smoking with other people present, it is an extreme form of abuse - second hand smoke kills.
