Keep up the improvements!
A big ‘thank you’ to the previous city administration for
finding the funds to build the new footpaths around the city walls and to
the current administration for pressing ahead with the work. The walk around
the city perimeter is now a pleasant one. How about similar treatment along
Thapae Road and Chiang Moi Road, both of which are a pedestrian’s nightmare?
Also a big ‘thank you’ to whoever regulates the vessels that use the Mae
Ping River. They are so quiet it is very easy not to notice them. Oh, if
only the vehicles that use the city roads could be similarly regulated what
a much more pleasant place Chiang Mai would be.
