Ride for Freedom

Dear Editor,
Here in the US, we are doing a Ride for Freedom across the US to LA, New Orleans, Atlanta, DC and the UN at New York for Akha human rights. A ride by horseback and bus. A record will be visible at www. akha.org with daily videos.
We are focusing on land rights, stopping the seizure of Akha lands, stopping the removal of Akha children, health, education and malaria prevention in Thailand and Laos.
Check it out, Michu is Akha and our family only speaks Akha for the most part.
Hampton is our big 17.2 horse, we are a couple hundred miles into this trip already, we are headed to LA and a protest at the Thai Consul there.
Robert Moss is just one of scores of missionaries removing and exploiting children. Do a review on “Prisoners of a White God” - Google videos.

Just Deserts

Dear Editor,
Two things, the first and most important is to congratulate Khun Somboon Jai-Ngarm, the Principal of Mae Tangs Sop Perng Wittaya School, for exposing Robert Moss and his employee at Hor Fuang Fah, who exploited young girls in their care. Those two, I was going to say animals, but they are worse than that, should be put away for life.
To Khun Somboon I say, ‘Well done sir, I hope you get some sort of recognition for what you did. I myself will hopefully find you at the school to shake your hand.’
The other thing was to say I was amused by Cory Croymans’ letter regarding the Gay Parade. I would think Thailand is the number one country in the world for accepting gays. Why should there be the need for a parade? The next thing I guess would be a “Straight parade!” Get real, there are more important things than gay parades needed in this country during this time of crisis.
