The successful Japanese Tanabata festival evening held at the Amari Rincome Hotel on July 7 attracted guests from both Thailand and Japan, some wearing beautiful traditional Japanese kimonos. Pictured standing l-r are Mujira with Ishiguro, the hotel’s Japanese assistant manager, and seated l-r are Kawade and Komyo with her daughter.


Mom Luang Sirichalerm Sawasdiwat, alias Muek Daeng, shown at Rajabhat University with the crew of TV Channel 9, shooting his popular ‘Little Chef’ programme.The university’s Prathom 4 class took part in the programme.


Deputy Chiang Mai governor, Chuchart Keelapaeng, pictured July 2 presiding over the opening of the Computer and Digital Fair 2009, an annual IT event held at CMU’s Convention Centre. Joint organisers were the university’s faculty of engineering and Siam Exhibitions Co.Ltd. Guests of honour included the Swedish honorary consul and the MD of Siam Exhibitions.
