At the inauguration of the Mae Hong Son Provincial Court in Pai district on September 2, North Chiang Mai University was represented by Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law Pantip Nawanuch acting for the Dean. He, together with Kasem Barameesilp, Suthasinee Maneekul and Sirirat Apinyatheerangkul congratulated Kwanwiang Kwan-an-in, the Chief Judge of the Mae Hong Son Provincial Court.


Students from Sacred Heart College’s science study groups were 1st prize winners in three youth activity projects, sponsored this year by Siam Cement Co and the Science Association of Thailand. The contests were held at Impact Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi between August 17 and 20, with Sacred Heart’s young astronomers, bird study and entomology groups receiving shields of honour, certificates and cash prizes of 10,000 baht and 15,000 baht for their work.
