The Centara Duangtawan Hotel in Chiang Mai organised a blood donation session for the Maharaj Chiang Mai Hospital at its Chiang Kam Room on the occasion of the recent 77th Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen.


Deputy Education Minister, Chaiwut Bannawat, presided over a ceremony to sign a memorandum of cooperation between Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Mae Hong Son Educational Service Area Office 2 which promised the development of Office 2 educational personnel, degrees in teaching Thai, and elementary education. The Japanese government represented by Junko Yokota (right), the Consul - General of Japan in Chiang Mai, and Dr Sarawut Supahnapitak, Director of Pai hospital, jointly sign a funding contract for the project to provide ambulance and equipment for Pai hospital in Mae Hong Son province. The signing ceremony was held recently at the Consulate-General of Japan’s premise at the Airport Business Park.


Maejo University’s President Dr.Thep Phongparnich (left), together with the university’s directors, sign a memorandum of cooperation with Philippines universities during a recent field trip to the Philippines in which they were welcomed by Dr.Ruben Sevilleja, President of Central Luzon State and Marilou Abon, President of Nueva Vizcaya State University.
