The 2nd Mae Win Tourism Promotion Fair will be held from Dec18-20, at the Economic  Community  Learning and OTOP Center  in Tambon Mae Win, Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai. Organized by Tambon Mae Win Administration Organization, highlights will be magnificent parades of elephants, boat rafts,  OTOP groups of products, three hilltribal groups, and tourism related  businesses.  Chiang Mai governor Amornphan Nimanant will preside over the opening of the fair at 1.00 p.m. on Dec 18.

40th Anniversary of the Royal Project Foundation: Exhibitions to honor H.M. the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, technology and research exhibition “40th Anniversary of the Royal Project Foundation to develop the highland, hill tribe folklore, Royal Project Brand Fair, community based tourism. ‘Bike for Elephants’ tour in Northern Thailand. Annual Rose Show: presented by the Chiang Mai Rose Growers Group December 25 – 27, 2009  There are Rose exhibitions of Chulalongkorn rose and Chao Dara-rasmi, roses of the Phuping Palace, roses from the Royal Project, cut-roses from different growing areas, English Roses, new varieties of roses hybridized in Thailand.
