Chiang Mai children celebrate Children’s Day and learn about the environment

Celebrating the theme “Thai children take care of the environment”, Chiang Mai children participated in educational fun and games, learning about conservation, pollution and littering at the Public Relations Building in Chiang Mai city.

Chiang Mai Deputy Governor Pairoj Saengpuwong presided over the event that featured stage shows, concerts, and contests that local children enjoyed along with the free presents, food and drink. In addition, they played real life make believe, working as newscasters, chefs and guides.
National Children’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Saturday in January and emphasizes teaching children about moral values in a fun and educational manner so that they can grow into responsible adults.

Warplane was the most interested by kids for trial sit in National Children’s Day arranged by Wing 41 on January 9, 2010.
