Chiang Mai residents get a glimpse of a partial solar eclipse

 

Pairote Saengphuwong, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai joined Wittaya Sathitkhanitkul, Director of Ratchapruek Park, and Assoc Prof Dr. Bonnraksa Suthorntham, the director of National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Narit) (Public Organization) in welcoming Chiang Mai residents to view the annular partial solar eclipse that took place on January 15. A large number of teachers brought their students to the park to observe the eclipse using 15 telescopes and solar scopes brought to the park just for the eclipse.
