Paradigm Private Clients and Aequus Asset Management joined the Networking
One event at the Shangri-La Hotel on Thursday, February 4. The event was
well attended with an interesting and diverse range of people. Nuna and her
husband Tony drove in from Chiang Mai for a bit of shopping and attended the
event, telling people about their lovely bungalows offering personal service
in Chiang Rai.

Cindy Tihey, new deputy editor for City Life Magazine joined the event, she
had previously worked for City Life for several years but needed to return
home for a period. She said she was really glad to be back in Chiang Mai and
really enjoyed the event, “I’ve been gone a year and a half and so much has
changed” she explained.
Gary Morrison, Director of the Translation and Editing Center at the Chiang
Mai University Language Institute talked about the new program there, and
talked about how skilled their translators were. “They translate contracts
and other formal documents, so we pick only the best,” he added. The Center
has recently landed some very substantial and exciting projects he
concluded.

Networking One regular Phillip Johnson of InFocus 4 You was there,
entertaining people with his usual, charming self. As was Payap student
Sailesh Patel, still talking about his favorite subject, Premier League
Football. Zane Crosby Emery attended with his charming father, Dale, showing
plans for his newest project, modern and airy townhouses.
Paradigm Private Clients Director Martin Macdonald introduced his business
to the crowd as did Martin of Aequus Asset Management Ltd. Gary Morrison of
the CMU Language Institute was the winner of a bottle of wine as Martin
Scorer pulled his card out of the bowl.
Gary Newitt proclaimed it another interesting and productive networking
event, with a good time had by all.
