IBM supports CMU’s i-Tim robotics camp

IBM and the Department of Computer Engineering at Chiang Mai University supported the 2ndi-Tim Robotics Summer Camp in collaboration with NSTDA Northern Network. The camp was held in Chiang Mai for secondary school students to study robot mechanisms; including robot design, building, and programming. Held last month, the camp was a big success with 47 qualified students nationwide who participated in the 5 day program. The program is aligned with IBM Thailand’s vision to support education in Thailand, especially introducing Thai students to sciences and information technology.

The winning team with their invention; “Smart eye-glasses and walking stick for the visually impaired”. Kanin Intanonglak attends Montfort College and Tarin Klaywong attends Khema Phirataram School.
