Mr. Pakin Ployphicha, CEO of Oasis Spa gave a warm welcome to Dr. Chaiwut Tangsomchai, Master of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University and a study abroad group from Washington State University, WA at the Oasis Spa Lanna recently. The students were interested in the financial and business model of the highly successful Oasis Spas.

A birthday party was held for Virginia Byrd of Sabu Sabu Natural Body Care at the headquarters of Sabu Sabu in Mae Rim recently. Widely attended by a broad range of Chiang Mai residents, friends and family, here Supreeda “Jeap” Wongsansee and a friend present a birthday present to Virginia as her daughter Marisa Marchitelli (far right) joins in the photo

Namwan Nobulluhc and Anselm join in the fun at North Gate Jazz Co-op’s 5th Anniversary Party held earlier this month. North Gate Jazz Co-op is owned and operated by Jazz musicians and is one of the few locations in town with live Jazz music nearly every night. Tuesday nights are the very popular open-mike nights.

The Chiang Mai Friends met at The Steak House for their monthly meeting where they heard a presentation from staff and volunteers at Art Relief International about their projects with organizations around Chiang Mai including Vieng Ping Orphanage, Grandma Cares, Wildflower Home and many others. Chiang Mai Friends meets the last Wednesday of every month.
