Joe, a long time Chiang Mai resident currently living in Bangkok, was back in town to celebrate his birthday with friends.


Orachorn Chantarawiwattana, General Manager of Central Airport Plaza and staffers donate supplies to the Don Chan School and teachers, here they are joined by the Mae Ping Police station officers who helped distribute the donations.


Chinese Consul General Zhang Weicai (left) paid an official visit to Chiang Mai Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn at the Municipal buildings lately, as part of his duties as new Chinese Consul General. He presented the Mayor with a gift from China as well. Consul General Zhang Weicai recently assumed his duties at the Consul-General for the People’s Republic of China after Dr. Zhu Wei Min returned to China


Chiang Mai Creative City Committee delegates on their way to the United States on a fact finding and research mission to learn more about creative enterprises, creative cities and other creative economy ventures that have proved successful in the United States. Their first stop Silicon Valley in Northern California, then Austin, TX and Oklahoma City, OK which has implemented a model that the CMCC hopes to emulate in Chiang Mai.
