Chiang Mai joined cities from more than 125 countries worldwide to participate
in the Global Entrepreneurship Week for the second year running. Organized by
the Chiang Mai Creative City and supported by the Thai-US Creative Partnership
(and the US Embassy) as well as other sponsors, the event brought together
entrepreneurs from the local scene for a series of talks and exercises all day

Led by the TDCI at Chiang Mai University and supported by the Management
Innovation Center at Faculty of Business Administration, the Knowledge
Innovation Center at CAMT, SIPA, Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce, and other
universities in Chiang Mai the event was well attended and featured many
The keynote speaker and guest, Bijoy Goswami from Austin, Texas gave several
talks including one about types, Maven, Relator or Evangelist that had the
participants in the seminar determining their business styles.
Global Entrepreneurship Week began in the United Kingdom in 2004 as Entrepreneur
Week, the success and popularity of the idea spread and the week long event now
sees participation in 115 different countries.
