Chiang Mai Beautiful City

Chiang Mai Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn launched the new project to garner support for new laws instituting zoning and height restrictions at the Lanna Folk Life Museum on March 31, 2013.

The latest effort, titled “Chiang Mai Beautiful City”, a bid to muster support for implementing measures to control development, institute zoning laws and restrict the height of buildings in the Old City was launched on March 31, 2013 by Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn. The project is being implemented to preserve the historic architecture and scenic resources of the city that are essential to the future development of the city.
