The Provincial Red Cross of Chiang Mai is joining together with the National Blood Service Region 10 to encourage the people of Chiang Mai to donate blood on World Blood Donor Day at Chiang Mai Hall at Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport on June 14, 2013.

Public warned of Dengue Fever outbreak

Chiang Mai is facing a massive outbreak of Dengue fever, Dr. Surasingh Witsautrat Deputy Director of the Chiang Mai Public Health Office said, with 1,200 patients and 2 deaths already this year. He noted that 3 years ago there were only 300 cases for the entire year.

Rotary International District 3360 installs lady governor

Suparie Chatkunyarat was installed as the new District Governor for Rotary International District 3360 at a ceremony held at the Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel last month. The outgoing District Governor Anurak Napawan chaired the opening of the meeting which also saw formal training for officers and the club administration committees as well as the installation of District Governor Elect Suparie.
