Villagers protest corruption in Mae Tang

Mae Taeng villagers file a petition with the Governor to fire the Mae Taeng Mayor for corruption.

200 Mae Taeng villagers protested at City Hall on June 3, 2013 where they called on Governor Tanin Subhasaen to fire Mae Hor Pra Mayor Pichet Kantaros for corruption.

Chiang Mai Ensemble expands

The talented musicians of the Chiang Mai Ensemble added a few instruments to the mix for their Chiang Mai Ensemble and Friends show on June 8, 2013 show at the AUA auditorium theater. The group tackled difficult and intricate pieces by Mozart, Prokofiev, and Saint-Saens, with the majority of pieces coming from Prokofiev.

Members of Skål Chiang Mai and the North traveled to the Legend Resort Chiang Rai for a weekend visit and meeting on June 1 and 2, 2013 held at the Legend. General Manager and Skal committee member Marc Dumur graciously hosted the event which also saw members visit Art Bridge and enjoy a wine tasting at Le Meridien Chiang Rai.
