The PTGIO has postponed their gala from August 20, 2013 to a date between the 15th and 22nd of October as the Royal Household informed them HRH Princess Soamsawali, who will participate in the event, would be unable to attend due to her Royal duties including those on Mother’s Day and HM the Queen’s birthday on August 12, 2013.
The PTGIO meeting was very successful with 3 representatives of the Promenada Resort Mall to discuss possible participation and support of Let’s Celebrate. UK fashion designer Lawrence Goldberg announced that he will be responsible for a glamorous fashion show, as a part of this year’s entertainment in the event. In the meeting he presented his clothing creations to the meeting members with Model Toon.
Wuttipong Arayatumsopon, elected president of the PTGIO told the Chiang Mai Mail that this is the first time that a member of the Royal Family will participate in a private fundraising event involving an organization that is not 100% Thailand based. He noted that for a small organization like PTGIO this success is quite a sensation.
