Protests around the city oppose the amnesty bill

Protests took place around the city on November 6 and 8 as many residents voiced their opposition to the amnesty bill. Photo by Hathaichanok Suphaloet.

Chiang Mai residents rallied around the city to protest the amnesty bill that has been proposed to the government in Bangkok. Protesters held signs and blew whistles at Tha Pae Gate, Chiang Mai Maharaj Nakorn Hospital and at Chiang Mai University.
